Technical Consultancy, Solution Design & Design Assurance

Turn requirements and site conditions into a solution that can be delivered

T2Core provides senior technical design input from early discovery through solution definition and design assurance. We connect operational requirements, existing conditions and technology dependencies so the project can move forward with a practical, supportable route.

Useful when

  • a project needs specialist or additional solution-design capacity
  • the required outcome is understood but the technical route is not
  • an existing environment needs to be assessed before change
  • a bid, upgrade or new-site programme needs a defined technical approach
  • a scope, solution architecture or technical specification needs to be developed
  • an existing design needs an independent delivery-readiness review

This can involve discovery, feasibility assessment, surveys and audits, option evaluation, requirements definition, solution architecture, design development or review, risk and dependency analysis, remediation planning, and independent technical advice within the agreed subject area.

Useful outcomes may include a requirements and design basis, a practical solution design, an evidenced assessment, a reviewed design, defined interfaces and dependencies, or a prioritised improvement path.

The output and decision authority are defined at the start, so that advice, design ownership and delivery responsibility remain clear.

Project & Delivery Management

Keep technical work coordinated from scope to commissioning and handover

T2Core provides technical project and delivery management for connected-technology work that crosses suppliers, trades, systems, locations and operating teams. We can take technical ownership of a workstream or add practical delivery capacity within a partner-led project, keeping those relationships visible and aligned with the agreed outcome.

Useful when

  • several technical work packages must come together
  • a new opening, refurbishment or upgrade has a fixed programme
  • surveys, installations and commissioning must be coordinated around an operating site
  • a deployment or equipment replacement must be repeated consistently across several locations
  • responsibilities or dependencies are unclear
  • the customer or lead partner needs additional technical delivery capacity

This can involve surveys and readiness checks, delivery planning, work-package definition, responsibility mapping, supplier and site coordination, access and dependency tracking, equipment replacement or controlled migration, deployment support, risk and change control, commissioning, progress and exception reporting, remedial work and handover management.

For a repeatable programme, the first locations can establish the delivery method, acceptance criteria, documentation and escalation route before the work is applied more widely. The purpose is to keep technical intent, site activity and completion evidence connected.

The technical scope, delivery responsibilities, communication routes and relationship with the wider programme are agreed at the start.

Assurance, Troubleshooting & Handover

Establish the facts, resolve what is agreed and document the known state

When an environment is unclear, unstable or believed to be complete, T2Core uses structured investigation and evidence to separate assumptions from the actual condition.

Useful when

  • an existing network or connected system is poorly understood
  • a fault crosses infrastructure, configuration, supplier or site boundaries
  • installed work needs technical review or validation
  • remediation priorities must be established
  • the operating team needs a clearer handover and known state

This can involve audits, site assessment, fault investigation, evidence gathering, configuration or installation review, testing, validation, remedial and completion work, remediation planning, exception recording and technical handover.

Useful outcomes may include findings and limitations, a fault or risk assessment, prioritised actions, validation results, unresolved exceptions and updated known-state information.

Access, credentials, existing information, test conditions and third-party dependencies are confirmed before any outcome or timescale is committed.

Supporting capability · Systems Infrastructure & Lifecycle

Support planned change to the systems behind an operation

Within a defined project, T2Core can help prepare, replace or migrate servers and infrastructure platforms. That work includes coordinating operating-system, application, network and vendor dependencies.

The transition is planned, validated and documented, including controlled decommissioning and handover where needed.

From design to handover

How we deliver

Each stage connects the technical decisions to the work on site. Use the stages your assignment needs, whether it is a focused review, a deployment or a wider programme.

  1. Confirm what must change, who it serves, what is already known and which decisions or responsibilities need to be established. Where the next decision requires facts, survey the site, system or available evidence, and record what could and could not be assessed.

Produces The outcome agreed, and existing conditions and unknowns recorded

  2. Bring together technical requirements, capacity, physical constraints, dependencies and operational needs. Make assumptions and interfaces visible.

Produces An achievable route, with assumptions and interfaces visible

  3. Work with the suppliers and workstreams involved, through the communication routes the project has set, so that responsibilities, interfaces, access and sequence are agreed before installation starts.

Produces Responsibilities, suppliers and sequence aligned

  4. Support or oversee the agreed installation around access, existing services and live-site conditions, keeping it aligned with the design. Control changes against the required outcome and record them.

Produces Controlled installation, with changes recorded

  5. Use the agreed inspections, tests and evidence to establish what has been delivered, what remains open and whether the intended objectives have been met.

Produces Test evidence, exceptions and actions

  6. Leave a usable record of the known state, relevant decisions, results, exceptions and next actions for the people responsible after completion.

Produces A known state, records and clear ownership

Showing stage 01: Understand & survey

Each stage leaves a decision or record the next stage can use. On a multi-site programme, the method can be tested at an initial location before it is used at later sites, with exceptions and technical escalations recorded as work progresses.

What good delivery leaves behind

  • Practical design

Requirements, site conditions and dependencies guide a solution that can be installed, operated and maintained.

  • Coordinated delivery

Work alongside your team, with clear responsibilities, supplier interfaces and communication routes that respect your customer relationships and site standards.

  • Verified handover

Test evidence, recorded exceptions and a usable known state show what is complete, what remains open and who supports it next.

What happens after handover?

Handover doesn’t have to be the end of our involvement. T2Core can provide follow-on technical advice, troubleshooting and support for further changes, working alongside your IT team or service provider.

Support is arranged around the work you need, while day-to-day operation and management remain with your team or appointed provider.
